Global manufacturer Terex is set to bring 100 new jobs to Derry-Londonderry as part of a £12m investment.

The firm, which produces lifting and material processing solutions, is establishing a new facility in Campsie to manufacture product lines for Terex Ecotec (waste management and recycling) and Terex Conveying Systems (mobile conveying).

The jobs boost, which will deliver more than £2m in annual salaries, will include production operative roles along with management and support positions in HR, operations and finance and a number of research and development positions.

Work is already underway on the new Campsie site, which will be operational later this year. Terex aims to have all 100 jobs in place within three to four years.
